Hauslia Terms of Service
Last updated: September 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of Hauslia, operated by Hauslia LLC ("Hauslia," "we," "us"), including the app.hauslia.com product and hauslia.com marketing site (together, the "Service"). By creating an Agent account, you agree to these Terms in full. If you are a Household Participant accessing the Service through a private link, Section 2 explains how these Terms apply to you.
1. What Hauslia Is
Hauslia lets a real estate Agent curate a small set of homes for one household, add their own written perspective on each, and share the collection with household members through private, individual links. Household members can react to and comment on properties, and request tours. Hauslia is not a property search engine, an MLS, a listing service, or a party to any real estate transaction, and does not provide real estate brokerage services.
2. Accounts and Access
Agents You must provide accurate information to create an Agent account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
Household Participants Participants do not create accounts or passwords. Access is provided through a private, high-entropy link issued by the Agent who invited you; possession of that link is the authentication mechanism. Do not share your link with anyone outside your household — forwarding it would let someone else react or comment as you. By using your link, you agree to use the Service consistent with the Acceptable Use provisions in Section 4. When you submit a comment, message, reaction, or other content, you also grant Hauslia the limited license described in Section 5 solely as necessary to operate the Service.
3. Agent Responsibilities
As an Agent using Hauslia, you represent and agree that:
- You have the right to share the contact information (name, email, phone) of any household member you invite, and that doing so is consistent with your existing relationship and obligations to that client.
- You have sufficient rights to any photo you upload for your own listings. Before each upload, you must affirmatively attest: "I own or have sufficient rights and authorization to upload and display these materials in Hauslia." Being the listing agent for a property does not, by itself, establish that you have rights to display its photos — the attestation is a separate representation you're making each time, and falsely making it is a violation of these Terms that may expose you to liability under applicable copyright law and third-party terms of service (e.g., MLS/listing platform rules).
- You will not upload or re-host photos you don't have rights to, including photos from listing platforms whose terms forbid third-party display.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your written narratives about each property and for complying with any real estate licensing, advertising, or disclosure laws that apply to you in your jurisdiction. Hauslia does not review or verify Agent content for regulatory compliance.
- You will use Hauslia's household-invitation features only for genuine clients you are actively working with, not for unsolicited outreach.
- You decide what client/Participant information to enter into Hauslia — name, email, phone, and any other detail, including via CSV import — and we process that information to operate the Service according to your instructions. You are responsible for any notices or consents your clients are owed under applicable law for sharing their information with us.
- The "prequalified" flag is your own assertion. Hauslia does not verify it, and you should not upload — because Hauslia does not accept — any financial document, preapproval letter, or income or credit information in connection with it or anything else on the platform.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, deceive, or harm another person;
- Attempt to access another household's collection, another Agent's account, or any data you're not authorized to see, including by guessing or brute-forcing a Participant link;
- Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or attempting to bypass access controls;
- Scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service.
5. Content Ownership and License
- Agents retain ownership of the narratives, ratings, and other content they create. By uploading content, you grant Hauslia a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service.
- Household Participants retain ownership of their comments and messages, and grant Hauslia a similar license to display that content within the relevant collection, to the Agent and other household members as intended by the product's design.
- Hauslia owns the platform itself — the software, design, and branding — separate from the content Agents and Participants put into it.
6. Third-Party Links (Virtual Tours & Video)
A property listing may include a link to a virtual tour or video hosted elsewhere — for example, Matterport or YouTube. Hauslia stores only the URL an Agent provides; we do not host, control, or verify that third-party content. Following such a link takes you to a service governed by its own terms of use and its own privacy/tracking practices, not Hauslia's. Agents are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any link they add.
7. Brokerage and Organization Accounts
Hauslia offers organization-level plans layered above individual Agent accounts: Team (up to 10 seats), Brokerage (up to 25 seats), Brokerage Plus (up to 50 seats), and Enterprise (50+ seats, custom). Current pricing for each tier is available on our pricing page or by contacting us. Brokerage billing is currently handled manually rather than through automated recurring billing.
Seated Agents inherit Growth-tier entitlements by default. Broader, office-wide Pro-level access is arranged individually with us.
A client search is created and maintained by the individual Agent who built it. Membership in an organization does not, by itself, give the organization or its administrators access to that search's content. We keep a record of which organization an Agent was seated under when a search was created, for reference. We have not adopted a policy governing what happens to a search if an Agent leaves an organization, and nothing in these Terms should be read to imply one.
A brokerage or organization administrator can see seat counts and aggregate adoption/usage metrics for Agents seated under their organization. They cannot see household content of any kind — no agent narratives, no reactions, no comments or messages, and no Participant contact information. This is a firm boundary, not something that varies by plan.
8. Plans and Fees
Individual plan tiers are First Client, Starter, Growth, and Pro, each with different features and active-search limits — see our pricing page for current pricing. The native mobile app is included at every individual tier. First Client is not a time-limited trial and is currently offered at no cost, limited to one active client search at a time.
The unit Hauslia meters against your plan limit is the number of active client searches — not the number of properties, participants, or comments within them. Archiving a search frees up that slot without deleting anything (see Section 9).
Payment processing: Square has been selected for individual subscription payments. Brokerage accounts are currently invoiced manually and may use the payment method specified on the invoice. As of this writing, billing is not yet active — no plan is currently charged, and no payment information is currently collected by Hauslia or shared with Square. When billing goes live, we'll provide notice and finalized payment terms — including how Square will handle your payment details and confirmation of Hauslia's role as seller of record — before any charge is made. We may change plan features, limits, or pricing prospectively with notice.
9. Data Retention, Downgrades, and Cancellation
- Archiving a search is not deletion. An archived search and everything in it remains intact and can be reactivated later, subject to your plan's active-search limit.
- If you cancel a paid plan or move to First Client, your existing searches remain intact. We do not purge data because a plan changed, though First Client limits you to one active search at a time.
- Deleting a Participant cascades to remove their reactions and comments, but not the rest of the search.
- Closing your Agent account does not, by itself, delete your client work — your searches and data remain intact and are retained consistent with this section and our Privacy Policy.
- If you want data deleted rather than retained, you can make an explicit deletion request under our Privacy Policy. We will act on a verified request, subject to what we're required or permitted to retain for legal, accounting, or other legitimate business reasons. Ordinary account closure or plan cancellation is not itself treated as a deletion request.
10. Tour Planner Disclaimer
Hauslia's tour day planner helps an Agent order the stops on a tour day based on the properties in a collection. It does not calculate, optimize, or verify driving times, distances, or routes. Any timing shown is for organizational convenience only — Agents are responsible for confirming realistic scheduling and travel time independently.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. HAUSLIA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. HAUSLIA IS NOT A PARTY TO, AND DOES NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE, ANY REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION, LISTING ACCURACY, OR ADVICE PROVIDED BY AN AGENT THROUGH THE SERVICE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAUSLIA AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. HAUSLIA'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID HAUSLIA, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Hauslia harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your violation of these Terms; content you upload, including any photo-rights misrepresentation; or your violation of any law or a third party's rights, including a household member's rights if you shared their information without proper basis to do so.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Agents may close their account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) will survive.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to that venue.
